Sleek Makeup Gold Press Night AW14 Product Launches: Eye & Cheek Palette - Dancing til Dusk, Eye & Cheek Palette - See you at Midnight and Precious Metals Highlighting Palette

As a blogger, I’ve been to a few launch parties lately and a lot of them are rather interesting both in terms of the things they are launching and the atmosphere. The most interesting launch event this week, for me anyways, was the Sleek Makeup Gold Press Night AW14 Collection launch party on Wednesday. The three new products that Sleek introduced to us this season are: Eye & Cheek Palette – Dancing til DuskEye & Cheek Palette – See you at Midnight and Precious Metals Highlighting Palette. The Eye & Cheek palettes came out earlier this month, but the Highlighting Palette was literally released on Wednesday evening. So I’m really pleased that I was one of the first group of people to own it! How exciting is that?

The shades of all these three palettes are amazing and I just love love love the Precious Metals Highlighting Palette. In addition to coming up with some exciting products, Sleek has also updated the packaging so it’s easier to open with a magnetic snap-shut mechanism. I haven’t tried these products out properly yet, but from trying out loads, like LOADS of Sleek eyeshadows and blushes before I can definitely tell you that I won’t be disappointed with these. This is only a first impressions post, but I’m pretty sure that I’ll be featuring these on my blog plenty more in the future.

Sleek Makeup Precious Metals Highlighting Palette (£9.99)

The most exciting product I’ve tried this week has to be this Sleek Makeup Precious Metals Highlighting Palette. The metallic shades look absolutely gorgeous! It consists of three lighter shades (Platinum, Royal Gold, Renaissance Gold) in a creamy formula and a darker shade (Antique Bronze) in a powder formula. I had a little makeover at the Sleek event and the MUA created a smokey eye look with their See you at Midnight Palette and did a bit of highlighting using the Precious Metal Palette. I loved it and wish I could recreate the look!

L-R: Eyeshadow shades from i-Divine Au Naturel Palette, Mirrored Pink Blush and Sahara Blush

Eye & Cheek Palette – Dancing til Dusk (£9.99)

Dancing til Dusk is made of a selection of the most popular eyeshadow shades from the i-Divine Au Naturel Palette and the two blush shades Mirrored Pink and Sahara. So nothing new really, it’s basically just combining the best of what’s already available! I think the shades are gorgeous for a natural everyday look. With a pink blush and a orange blush, it pretty much suits all complexions! If you want to see a look I created using the Au Naturel Palette, then click *here* and if you want to see a different look using a similar blush shade, then click *here*.

Eye & Cheek Palette – See you at Midnight (£9.99)

See you at Midnight is made of four eyeshadow shades from the i-Divine Romance Palette. and the two blush shades Pomegranate and Antique. As you can see, the shades in this palette are a lot darker and more daring. It’s definitely the palette I’d choose for a “night out”, hence “See you at Midnight!”

So what do you think of these new Sleek Makeup palettes? Anything you want to try in particular?

Yes, for us Sleek makeup lovers the Eye & Cheek Palette has all the basic colours found in other palettes, but it's a great choice for those who wants an introduction to Sleek, 🙂 x

Love the look of these palettes! I wish all of the highlight shades were powder formula though, not a fan of cream highlighters.

That precious metals palette is so gorgeous, I don't know what it is about the idea of glitter being part of my daily routine but I'm seriously feeling that idea!
