Fashion Forward Flightwear

Earlier this week, I wrote a blog post about my visit to the Dressed by Angels costume exhibition at the Old Truman Brewery. The exhibition was extraordinary and it inspired me to create my own costume designs… or at least  some simple outfit sketches. I’m not a regular sketcher, but I thought I’d do my best to create a cool outfit using my not-so-good sketching skills! Thankfully, after an hour and a half of trying and after multiple test sketches, I managed to create a piece that I was relatively happy with! As you can see (or maybe not),…

Outfit: Chunky Knits for Winter

The best thing about autumn and winter is the opportunity to layer up and wear big chunky knits on top of everything! Chunky knits go well with pretty much everything including bodycon dresses and mini-skirts. My favourite thing about knitted jumpers is that they are a fun and cosy alternative to a big winter jackets! Most high street shops have updated their stocks by now to include super cosy jumpers! I’ve recently spotted many knitted jumpers that I would like to buy, but the one that really caught my eye is this Black Premium Aztec Knit Turtle Neck Jumper* from…

Outfit: Boohoo Dress for Autumn – 1 Dress, 3 Looks

One of my favourite things about autumn and winter is being able to play with layers and textures. Boohoo asked me to create 3 different looks using one dress in their Dress for Autumn* challenge and I was very excited to come up with these looks! If you follow me on Instagram, then you might have seen how heavily this dress has been featured! All looks follow themes from the new AW15 trends! For the dress, I picked out a Paisley Print Shift Dress that goes with a lot of looks. I hope you guys like the looks and do let me know which…

Outfit: Luxêmme – Show me that Suedette

Luxêmme appears to have become one of the most favourited fashion brands among bloggers. I’ve seen so many outfits feature Luxêmme and they all look stunning. Luxêmme has some of the most stunning co-ords including this suedette two-piece, so it’s hard not to fall in love with the brand. It’s a brand that “takes its inspiration from classic French- Parisian fashion, as well as authentic Manchester street style!” I was fortunate enough to review a limited edition piece from this fun fashion brand. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to style my first and second choice from the range as there were limited numbers, but…

Outfit: Scandinavian Fashion

This Becksondergaard T-Ethnic Cape has been a life saviour for me this month! I’ve been wearing it almost everyday indoors and outdoors. It’s really nice to lounge around in, but it’s also an amazing outerwear! It flows perfectly when I’m walking around in it and it looks gorgeous with or without a belt. When I’m outside, I like to keep the belt on so it doesn’t “fly away” and when I’m at home, I simply drape it on like a blanket. As for the outfit here, I kept it minimal with a black & grey Scandinavian fashion theme! Besides, most of…
