Bourjois Happy Light Foundation No53 Golden Beige Review and Swatches

This Bourjois Happy Light Foundation came out not so long ago and it’s become a “happy spotlight” in the beauty blogosphere. I am not a huge fan of foundations because I’m more of “look natural with minimum coverage” girl, so most of the complexion correction stuff I use on my face are BB creams, CC creams and tinted moisturisers (Foundation Alternatives). Although I do refer my skin looking a little flawed, there are special occasions in my life that require me to have porcelain looking skin. I was aiming for the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum when I stepped into Boots a few weeks…

My New Haircut at Headmasters Fulham Broadway

Check out my new hair! I finally got around to using the gift card I got from Company Beauty Week after needing a haircut for so long! After seeing how gorgeous Tamera Foster from X Factor looked after her haircut, I decided to chop mine off too!  The Headmasters salon I went to this Tuesday is located by Fulham Broadway Station. I went for a drop-in session at 11am in the morning as I couldn’t decide which hairdresser to choose on the booking list. So I decided to let the hairdresser (basically whoever’s available) choose me! It was rather empty when…

S5 Skincare Illuminating Serum Review

Oh dear! I almost forgot to review this product! I’ve featured in it this post: Beauteco Box August 2013 (now called Love Me Beauty) and The Starting Off Project: Skincare. So yes, I’ve had it for ages! I did (almost) finish it a month ago, but I left some for the purpose of this review! Yay! I did note down all the short-term effects though. I was going to skip over this review, but a few days ago some Googlers came across my blog by searching “S5 Skincare Review”, which gave me a reason to finally write this up. S5…

Melvita Rose and Orange Blossom Floral Water Review

The first time I came across the term floral water facial toner is through Melvita back in June, when they took part in the Latest in Beauty CEW Discovery Box. I initially thought that this product was meant for anti-aging but later found through testing, that it works well for all skin conditions. It’s so light and fresh, and is a must-have on a hot day (although this does not apply anymore). I am a big fan of spritz toners partially because I’m lazy and… ok, there’s no “and”. I almost forgot that I had these until a recent beauty clean…

Elemis Freshskin Skin Glow Exfoliating Face Wash Review

I received this Elemis Freshskin Skin Glow Exfoliating Face Wash back in July in a rather huge goody bag: #JulyLondonMeetup and I’ve also feature it in the Starting Off Project: Skincare post. Yes, I’ve basically had it for months, but surprisingly there’s still some left! So here I am trying to get a review done before it eventually ends up in the empties bin this or next month! It’s lasted me so long because I only use it once a week and I started using it in August, that something like 15 weeks, which pretty much means that a 30ml sample lasts around 20…
