Rimmel Apocalips 101 Celestial Review and Swatches

This is my first proper make-up review, yay! First of all, I do not own many make-up products and the ones I have seem to last forever! Let me see, I’ve probably bought 5 lipsticks, 2 eyeliners, 2 blushes and far too many mascaras in my life. However, I do own more make-up than that, but a lot of them were given to me by family and friends. I did only start using lipstick about two years ago, and I bought my first blush last summer! Crazy, huh? As a beauty blogger, this is rather unusual, but I do choose…

Essie Sleek Stick in So Haute!

Is this one of those over-blogged items? I’m not too sure, but I’m gonna talk about them anyway because they are “SO haute!” I got this in my July Glossybox, but you might not be so lucky if you ordered a Glossybox today.  The Collection Look at this awesome collection! It came out earlier this year and you can buy a pack of 18 nail stickers for around £10 in Boots. I have never tried pre-UV-cured nail stickers so I was really excited when I got this! I think I got the nicest one from the sleek collection but I…

Headline Colors Nail Art and Review

Just a quick in depth brand review today featuring Headline Colors. I now own 4 of them , which I received as a part of beauty subscription boxes: May Glossybox and June BeautecoBox. The colours I have are Twisted Silk (not shown in this post), Glamour, Spotlight and Poolside Party.   Glamour and Spotlight I’m actually really happy by the fact that it turned out so neatly, considering that I’m rubbish at nail art. Poolside Party and Glamour This is inspired by a turquoise and gold jewelry I own. 3 days after application If you subscribe to Glossybox or/and BeautecoBox then you…

Anti-Ageing in your 20s? feat. Elemis, Carita, Balance Me and Melvita

Today’s post is all about anti-ageing products and the tricks you can do with them. After receiving lots of anti-ageing product samples in various beauty boxes, as gifts and in magazines, I started asking myself “when is it the right time to worry about wrinkles and saggy skin?” The most common answer would be “when you notice the wrinkles.” However, I believe that when you can see the wrinkles it’s too late to reverse the effect. They say that there’s no such a thing as a wrinkle eraser, and I personally think it’s true. The reason that they are called…

BeautecoBox June 2013

Yes! My table is finally free from lecture notes on thermodynamics, machine system dynamics, finance etc. etc. Now it’s filled with piles of beauty products and magazines, at least until next month. I received my first BeautecoBox today and I’m very excited about it. It also makes up the fact that I’m still waiting for my June Glossybox because someone forgot to pack it! Let’s start off with my experience of the Beauteco box, shall we? The box it came in is recyclable (thus beautiful and ecological) and it reminds me of a double sized Graze box. Last month’s products…
