A Visit to Ideal Home Show 2014

Did you go to the Ideal Home Show at any point in March? I went there on Sunday and it was an eye-opening experience. I was planning to go earlier, but I had an exam last Friday which took a bit more revision than expected. It went well though (or that’s what I’m hoping for at least!). That also explains my absence on my blog and social media accounts. I’ll try to be a little more active over the next few weeks, but I cannot guarantee that because I have more exams coming up! Also, I’m really sorry if I…

Co-operative Food Hacks – Chopsticks as Cooking Tools

Co-operative Food teamed up with NUS in September 2013 to make student life just a little bit easier. So if you’re a student and have a NUS Extra Card, then you can get a 10% discount on all grocery shopping all year round. I spend around £30 per week on grocery (yep, just a little expensive in London), which adds up to £1560 per year and 10% of that is a whooping £156. That’s like 10 MAC lipsticks! <3 <3 Will I be enjoying this offer? Probably not, seeing that I won’t be a student anymore in less 3 months and…

Bloggers Love Secret Gardens Event

I am a little behind schedule with my blog as I’m focusing on university work at the moment, but I do try to keep it updated as often as possible. I attended this event with Nadja from Throw me Something…

The Big Bang Restaurant (Oxford Castle Quarter) Review

As a part of my Christmas present, my boyfriend took me on a weekend trip to Oxford. Why exactly Oxford? Well, long strong short, last time we tried to go (3 years ago) we just happened to have bought bus tickets for the day a snow storm took place. We got no further than Hillingdon, which took three hours to get to from London.  This time we were quite lucky as we managed to make our trip all the way to Oxford! Yay! However, rather than being caught up in a snow storm, we were challenged by non stop rain.…

Christmas Wishlist: Norwegian Style

It’s not Christmas yet so I still have time to make a wishlist! Nevertheless, this wishlist is completely different from all of the other ones you’ve so far seen in the blogosphere (possibly containing Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette and Yankee Candles) because this one is Norwegian themed!!! Why Norwegian? Well, if you still haven’t figured out that I come from Norway (weird, right?) then you should probably take a wander over to the About Me section.  Clockwise from top left: Debbie Bliss yarn, OnePiece Lillehammer Onesie, French Connection Polar Knitted Jumper, Sætre Pepperkaker, Just Sheepskin Avondale Slippers, Tomte Gløgg  … and dreaming…
