Balance Me Rose Otto Body Wash Review

Balance Me Rose Otto Body Wash is one of the products I got in my You Beauty Discovery Limited Eidition Box. I am a massive fan of Balance Me because all their products are natural, affordable and of high quality. But most important of all, Balance Me is a trustworthy brand that always delivers what they have promised.

Product Description:
“Our gently foaming, sulphate free body wash is heavenly
scented, luxuriously moisturising and deeply soothing. The bespoke blend of
skin-quenching essential oils; rose otto, palma rosa and mood-balancing rose
geranium oils are perfect for sensitive, dry or more mature skins. This wash
will gently cleanse your skin leaving it feeling more supple and smooth whilst
the light and calming floral fragrance soothes your mood. Our rose otto wash is
perfectly partnered with our rose otto cream which is deliciously rich and
velvet-ifying.”
My View:
Smell: The smell of this body wash is divine! It’s got an uplifting smell of roses combined with a nice soothing smell of herbs. Hence, the scent of Rose Otto Body Wash does not only induce a sense of happiness, but also a feeling of total relaxation. For a product with 99% of ingredients derived from natural origins (free from parabens, sulphates, petroleum, mineral oils, silicons etc. etc.), I thought the scent came out rather well.

Texture: The texture is gel-like (obviously) and clear. In terms of texture, it’s as simple as it can get when it comes to shower gels, but I do wish it would lather up just a little bit more.

Result: Balance Me Rose Otto Body Wash can either be used as a shower gel or bath soak. I only used it as a shower gel and I find it very soothing and moisturising. The criteria I have on shower gels are; cleans my body and smells nice, and Balance Me Rose Otto Body Wash fulfills both of the criteria.

The main thing I didn’t like about Rose Otto Body Wash is that the price tag is just over my limit. I wouldn’t pay a full price of £10 for something that only lasts 2-3 weeks. However, if you’re willing to pay that extra for an luxurious, all natural body wash that’s soothing and rejuvenating, then this product is for you.

After note: the 100ml version only ever appears in beauty boxes (raising the value of the boxes), so most people would opt for the £12.25/260ml bottle in a purchase which is over 50% cheaper than the 100ml one.

Behind the Scene Background:
Just a little along the bridge from where I took these photos, is a beautiful scenery looking across St. James Park at the Horse Guards Parade. I managed to take a few photos of the scenery before it was overloaded by several groups of tourists trying to take the same photo. 😛

Gorgeous pics! I used this before (I got a full size bottle with another purchase) and I agree with your review. It is nice, but not £10 nice! x

Thank you! I think the 100ml bottle is mis-priced because the 260ml bottle is way cheaper! x

What a lovely photo at the end! I agree with you as well, it is lovely to use and it smells gorgeous but it's just too much for a shower gel that just gets washed away down the drain in my opinion!

Thank you! Well said, £10 down the drain in less than 3 weeks 😛 x

Balance Me is a lovely brand, I adore their skincare however I don't think I could pay £10 for a shower gel either :/
