A Diary Entry to Olympia Beauty 2013

What is Olympia Beauty? It’s a trade show open for all beauty professionals and anyone working or studying in the beauty industry. Have you ever been to a food show like Good Food? It’s sort of like that. However, the entrance tickets (pre-registered) were free for everyone in the beauty industry, but it costs £20 at the door for shoppers. The show ran for two days: 22-23 September. I only went to the Sunday one because I thought one day was more than enough. All About Nails I arrived around 2pm, by that time a good amount of people had…

Fusion@London 2012 and Fashion Strikes

Now that London Fashion Week is over, let’s talk about an interesting fashion project which you can get directly involved in! In February 2012 I was lucky enough to model for an inter-University fundraising show called Fusion@London. Fashion, music and dance were central to the show. Emerging designers such as Nova Chiu, Vivien of Holloway, Jennifer Morris and Ramil Makinano lent out some exciting pieces for the show. Angel and Charli xcx were some of the headline acts! A Diary Entry to Company Beauty Week

Some of you might already know about Company Beauty Week (#companybeautyweek), but for those of you who haven’t heard of it, it’s basically a week jam packed with events and competitions in association with Company Magazine. Not to be greedy, I (only, hehe) signed up for two events; Origins GinZing Event and Headmasters Styling. I think I was one of the super lucky ones to have gotten a place for the Headmasters event. Since my experience of  the two events…

Hyper Japan 2013 Where Technology Meets Cuteness

I did put down events as one of my blog tags, so I should probably blog about them! Not glamorous events necessarily but just cool things to do in London! Last Sunday (28. July), I made an impulse decision to go to an event called Hyper Japan at Earls Court Exhibition Center. I (somehow) managed to do my makeup, get dressed and pack my bag in less than 20  mins, which must be a record! The late entry ticket at the door costed me £10, which is an alright price for a fairly interesting exhibition. To be honest, the late…

#JulyLondonMeetUp – the Goods, the Goods and the Goodies

Once again, I was super lucky to be invited to a bloggers event! I heard about the #julylondonmeetup on Twitter at the beginning of July because people I followed were talking about it. Therefore, I immediately emailed Helen (Beautifully Superfluous), who was organising this event to put me on the waiting list. Weeks went by without any news, but as mean as it sounds I really hoped that someone will drop out (sorry, if you are reading this). However, a couple of days ago Helen emailed me back saying that there is a space available after all! I was joyous…
