Outfit Idea for Cheltenham Races Ladies Day on 11th March

If you’re a big sports fan, then you might already know that Cheltenham Festival is taking place this week! It’s a four day horse racing event consisting of Champion Day, Ladies Day, St Patrick’s Thursday and Gold Cup Day! To be completely honest with you, I’m not entirely sure about what the day-to-day schedule involves, but I certainly know that it’s a highly prodigious event and it’s also a very popular event for the gamblers.
Horse racing isn’t something I grew up knowing a lot about, but I’ve seen it on TV and in movies and I think it would be amazing to take in the whole experience live at the festival! Thankfully, EtailPR has given us bloggers the opportunity to attend the Cheltenham Races on Wednesday, 11th of March for Ladies Day!
Other than taking in the atmosphere and hearing the roars from the stand, I’m also very excited about dressing up for Ladies Day! This year it’s all about bold colours, hence the hashtag: #ColourMeMarch! So if you’re curious about what everyone else is wearing for Ladies Day, then you can follow that hashtag.
Outfit Idea for Cheltenham Races Ladies Day on 11th March
This post is super last minute, so I haven’t had time to put together an outfit and take pictures on the same day! I blame myself for not reading my emails on time because I’ve been rather busy last week! However, as it’s all about bold colours, I’ve decided to use one of my older outfit pictures featuring my I Love Lola dress (yes, that’s a picture of me) and create an outfit idea for the races! Here I’ve paired up my dress with a pretty Untold red fascinator, Phase Eight faux fur jacket and a simple Michael Kors clutch bag. The accessories here are pretty simple because the dress is really bold! In the summer, I’d probably wear the dress on its own, but a nice and warm jacket is definitely needed for the colder months! 😉
I hope you liked this outfit idea and if you think that you can do better, then check out the #ColourMeMarch competition by @ColourMeMarch and @EtailPR. You can find more about the competition on Cheltenham Racecourse’s website and EtailPR Blogger Network

Love the photo with the Chanel background. Looks like it was taken for a magazine. 😉 The dress is beautiful and so are the other accessories you recommended for the look. I don't go to these races but would love an excuse to dress up like this. 🙂 xx

Aww! You're making me blush, it was taken in a studio, but not quite magazine standard. You should definitely go to the races one year though! x
