#CarnivalFiesta with Thomas Cook Airlines

I’m incredibly behind with my blog post, so a lot of these events I’m writing about now actually happened around two weeks ago! Sometimes I wish I could blog everyday to catch up with the huge list of things that needs appearing on the blog a lot sooner! Well, earlier this month I attended a blogger’s event with Thomas Cook Airlines. The event was held at Barrio East and it was the perfect location for a Carnival Party in October!

The event was full of fun, full of energy and full of tasty cocktails! Upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of Mojito and an intro to Thomas Cook Airlines and their top holiday destinations. This year, one of their top holiday destinations is Tenerife for their upcoming festival in February. This event was all about a preview to what the carnival has to offer and I must admit that I’m hooked by the idea of booking flights to Tenerife next year. I’ve been there a few times and it’s one of my personal favourite sun destinations!

Before dancing around in carnival themed hats and playing with fire at the cocktail bar, the “Samba maestros Leny and Romero” really put on a show and demonstrated some really awesome samba moves that got the crowd happy and dancy!

We were then divided into five stations: samba dancing, head piece making, cocktail masterclass, carnival makeover and get to know Thomas Cook Airlines. The photos are a mix of mine and the ones provided by Thomas Cook Airlines. So let’s take a look at the photos from each of the station shall we?

I absolutely loved #CarnivalFiesta with Thomas Cook Airlines and it got me really excited about the festivals in Tenerife coming up in February 2016! I really hope that I can go next year so I can show off my samba moves, drink cocktails by the beach and wear the most extravagant headpiece! If this is only a taste of what Tenerife has to offer, just imagine all the great things we can all experience at the real thing. Carnival Dancing Queen? I’m totally on it! If you love glitter, DANCING, beautiful headpieces, sunshine, cocktails and party by the beach, like me, then what are you waiting for? ?

I used to work for Thomas cook so it's interesting to read about how they are interacting with bloggers at the moment! Sounds like a great event.
